Ingredients

1 lbs chuck steak (sliced)

1 large onion (sliced)

½ green bell pepper

½ red bell pepper

1 tsp black pepper

Salt to taste

2 cups boiling water

3 tbsp oil

For the Sauce:

3 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp cornstarch

1 tbsp sugar

½ cup warm water

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp garlic powder

¼ tsp ginger powder


Instructions

  1. Brown steak in oil, remove.
  2. Sauté onion, then bell peppers separately, remove.
  3. Return steak, season, add boiling water. Simmer 45 mins.
  4. Add onions and peppers back in.
  5. Pour in sauce, stir until thick.
  6. Serve hot with rice.
