Ingredients
1 lbs chuck steak (sliced)
1 large onion (sliced)
½ green bell pepper
½ red bell pepper
1 tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
2 cups boiling water
3 tbsp oil
For the Sauce:
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp sugar
½ cup warm water
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp ginger powder
Instructions
- Brown steak in oil, remove.
- Sauté onion, then bell peppers separately, remove.
- Return steak, season, add boiling water. Simmer 45 mins.
- Add onions and peppers back in.
- Pour in sauce, stir until thick.
- Serve hot with rice.
