Ingredients

Scale

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup

1 packet (1 oz) dry Italian dressing mix

1/2 cup chicken broth

34 garlic cloves, minced

1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts

Cooked angel hair pasta, for serving

Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of your crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.

  2. In the slow cooker, add softened cream cheese, butter, cream of chicken soup, Italian dressing mix, chicken broth, and minced garlic. Stir to combine.

  3. Add the chicken breasts, coating them with the sauce.

  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked (165°F).

  5. Use two forks to shred the chicken in the crockpot. Mix well into the sauce.

Serve warm over freshly cooked angel hair pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
