Description

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Cinnamon Swirl Filling:
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • Streusel Topping:
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch pan.
  2. In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla, beating until combined.
  4. Mix in sour cream. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients into wet mixture until smooth.
  6. Pour half the batter into the pan, sprinkle the cinnamon swirl filling evenly, and top with the remaining batter.
  7. Mix streusel topping with a fork until crumbly and sprinkle over the batter.
  8. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool for 15 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For a holiday touch, drizzle with vanilla glaze.
Can be baked in a bundt pan for a more festive presentation.
Keeps well for 3–4 days in an airtight container.
